Out on a short trip today I started and ended my day at the same spot. I was fishing a shell flat next to a gut. I walked 10ft from the boat and made a cast in the 4ft shell gut, hooked-up on a nice 4lb trout. In about 30 min I had landed my 10th trout. I switched from a Corkey too soft plastic with a ¼ oz jig head ( I personally throw this size of jig head year round )walked about 30yrds down the shell flat and found steady auction on Reds. I had my limit on reds and trout in two hrs.
